Abby Sinclair Herrmann

Abby Sinclair Herrmann passed on Thursday June 15, 2023, after suffering a seizure that resulted in a fatal accident at the home she shared with her husband Will Hermann in Austin, Texas.

Abby came into the world on May 11, 1995. She was born in Wharton County, Texas to Rick and Edee (Davis) Sinclair. She graduated from Needville High School in Needville, Texas and went on to earn her undergraduate degree in Political Science from Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. Abby's passion was music; she thrived in her involvement with the Allstars Youth Banjo Band, was a member of the high school choir, and played several instruments including the ukelele and banjo, and had the voice of a songbird.

Professionally, Abby had a gift for breathing new life into every business she was a part of. Her organizational skills, personability, and capacity to adapt to every situation allowed Abby to succeed in everything that she put her heart and mind into. Abby had always been a high achiever, starting her career in a director role with the Republican Party of Texas and more recently, leading operations at Tech Ranch. Along the way, Abby enjoyed working in coffee shops for the sincere delight of interacting with new people.

Abby was significant. She was Christ-like, and her kindness felt like warmth from the sun. And like warmth from the sun, the love and kindness she would emit was endless. In every person she knew, she’d meet them at their highest self, no matter where they were in life. The wisdom that Abby possessed was the rare kind that came from the heart and showed empathy and grace. She had a smile that could turn the worst day around and a presence that made everyone feel seen and appreciated. Her adventurous spirit led her to always pursue the splendor of life. She was a wife, a daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. But above all, she was one of a kind. Abby left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew her. She will be so deeply missed.

Abby was preceded in death by her Grandfather Larry Davis and his wife Jan from Mission, Texas. She is survived by her devoted husband, Will Herrmann, of Brenham, Texas, her father and mother, Rick and Edee (Davis) Sinclair, of Needville, Texas, and her siblings: Curtis Sinclair and wife, Kayla, of League City, Texas; Richie Sinclair and wife, Lindsay, of Paola, Kansas; and Andrew Sinclair and wife, Sarah, of Spring, Texas, grandmothers, Judy Davis of Needville, Texas and Margaret Knight of Waverly, Kansas and nieces and nephew Kaleb, Cora, Camryn, Maggie, Stevie.
